Located outside of Lewiston, Artpark encompasses over 200 acres solely devoted to nature and the arts, both visual and performing. During the summer, a full schedule of events includes world-class musical and theatrical performances, workshops, kids' themed summer camps, and festivals. Many of the events are free, and the majority of them are especially family friendly. The park is also popular for hiking and walking, bicycling, fishing, and picnicking. Large-scale sculptures line some of the trails; other interesting features include an 1800-year-old burial mound, views of the Niagara River gorge, art studios, and plenty of birding opportunities.

Renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed New York City's Central Park, developed Buffalo's park system. Water, woods, and meadows are the three elements that Olmstead considered vital to an urban park, and Delaware Park features all three. It is an ideal spot for walking, jogging, picnicking, playing tennis and golf, or simply relaxing in the tranquility of nature.

Nicknamed the "Grand Canyon of the East," this park features more than 14,000 acres of spectacular natural scenery. Witness dramatic views of the Genesee River gorge, hike more than 40 miles of trails, enjoy a camping excursion, or visit the charming Glen Iris Inn and Museum.

This state park includes the entire expanse of land that borders the American side of Niagara Falls. It is highlighted by Three Sisters Island, Prospect Point, Goat Island, and Luna Island at Bridal Falls. The park features a Visitor's Center, the Niagara Falls Discovery Center, and an Observation Tower. It is open year round for hiking, biking, fishing, and cross-country skiing.
